Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
